The Ksubi NYC store embodies the brand’s ethos with its vibrant energy and contemporary design. The overall ambiance is edgy yet refined, reflecting Ksubi’s signature style while also elevating it to a new level of sophistication. Raw materials such as concrete walls, chrome details, and “burnt wood” create an urban atmosphere. Neon lights, graffiti art, and eclectic displays showcase the merchandise in an unconventional yet stylish manner.
– a homage to street culture
Thick chains suspended from the ceiling serve as supports for shelves, creating an industrial-inspired display. Vibrant and dynamic furniture pieces that add a touch of urban flair to the space. The vandalized accents serve as a homage to street culture and further reinforce Ksubi’s connection to the contemporary urban landscape.

As Design Director for Ksubi NY, I translated the brand's identity into a cohesive design concept, defining the materiality, narrative, and layout of the store to reflect its aesthetic. I led the design development process, collaborating with two Junior Designers to create detailed plans and overseeing shop drawing coordination for all custom displays, ensuring precision and alignment with the concept. I also managed the QC throughout the project, maintaining the highest standards of execution.
The project’s biggest challenge was managing team rotations, as changes with the Junior Designer and Project Manager required me to take on a significantly larger role. I assumed responsibility for much of the project’s lifecycle, from conceptualization to completion, ensuring a seamless process and a final design.
